The Town of Milton will observe the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the United States with two events.

Blood Drive, 9/9

On Thursday, September 9, from noon to 6:30 p.m., the Town will host a Blood Drive to benefit the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center.  A blood mobile sponsored by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital will be parked in front of Town Hall.  To donate, please sign-up in advance at:  tinyurl.com/MiltonS2021.  Walk-ins will be accepted if time allows.  All donors will receive a 9/11 remembrance T shirt.

Vigil, 9/10

Please join the Milton Select Board and the Milton Interfaith Clergy Association on Friday, September 10, at 6:00 p.m. for a vigil observance on the Town Green/Gazebo at Town Hall.  Through words of remembrance and song, we will honor all who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.  Our special guest speaker will be Sgt. Supervisor Brian Coughlan of the New York Police Department.  The vigil will be broadcast live on Milton Access TV.
