The Select Board will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, on Property Tax Classification under the provisions of Chapter 40, Section 56 of the Massachusetts General Laws. The issue for discussion at the hearing is allocating of the local property tax levy amount, the five classes of property for FY 2022 tax bills, residential, open space, commercial, industrial, and personal property. The Board of Assessors will be able to provide the information and data relevant to making the determination, including the fiscal effect of the available alternatives.Citizens and taxpayers may present oral or written information on their views at the hearing.This hearing will be conducted remotely via Zoom in accordance with the Governor’s Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G. L. c. 30A, § 20, relating to the 2020 novel Coronavirus outbreak emergency.To access the meeting, members of the public may:
1) watch the meeting broadcast live on Milton Access TV;
