Town Officials Condemn Swastika Found in Pierce Middle School

Officials are investigating who put the graffiti in the bathroom.

MILTON, MA — Town and school officials are condemning a piece of hate graffiti found inside a bathroom at Pierce Middle School.

In a letter sent to parents, Principal Karen Spaulding called the swastika graffiti "“extremely troubling and highly inconsistent with the inclusive culture that we are committed to creating at the Pierce Middle School,” according to the Boston Globe.

The Milton Board of Selectmen said they were sadden to learn of the incident and "the type of behavior that occurred at the middle school will not be tolerated in our schools or in our town,” WHDH reported.
