Tucker Principal to Speak at Temple Shalom Breakfast
Tucker Elementary School Principal Marcia Uretsky will make a presentation called "Success and Tzuris in Public School Education" on Sunday, January 29.

Marcia Uretsky, principal of Milton’s , will be the guest speaker at the next Temple Shalom of Milton Breakfast Speaker Series on Sunday, January 29, at the Pierce Middle School at 9:30 a.m.
Uretsky will speak on the topic “Success and Tzuris in Public School Education.” Tzuris is a Yiddish word that means troubles or misery.
Uretsky became principal of the Tucker School in 2009. She had been a K-8 literary coach in the Hull Public Schools, and a teacher in Sharon. She was also a literary consultant and project manager at Tufts University’s Center for Applied Child Development, and was co-director of the Learning Community Charter School in Central Falls, R.I. She received her elementary, special educator, and principal certifications from Bridgewater State College.

The public is invited to the breakfast, which begins at 9:30 a.m., with the speaker starting at approximately 10:15.
A $5 donation for the breakfast is requested to defray costs, and a call to the temple office at 617-698-3394 , would help in planning.
