Visions for Vacancies: A Coffee Shop, Movie Theater

The storefront at 556 Adams Street in East Milton has been vacant since a fire at Java Jo’s in 2007. The 6,000-square-foot property is currently available for lease, and includes the former movie theater that has been closed for decades.

The area around the former coffee shop has seen some new tenants as Salon Matteo and B. Boutique currently flank the open space.

There aren’t many open storefronts in Milton, especially with that much space. What kind of business would you like to see in East Milton?
