3 New Coronavirus Deaths Reported At Natick's Mary Ann Morse
The Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center has been the site of the town's most serious coronavirus outbreak.
NATICK, MA — A coronavirus outbreak at Natick's Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center has worsened with three new deaths, the facility's CEO reported on Friday. That brings the total death toll there to 20.
The facility reported the first deaths on April 15, and the National Guard came to the facility shortly after to conduct coronavirus tests. So far, 75 residents and 36 staff have tested positive — but that number has not increased since April 24, according to CEO Lisa Kubiak.
"Although we are far from being out of the woods, we are seeing small glimpses of recovery among residents, and improvement within our communities," she wrote in an update posted on the Mary Ann Morse website on Friday.
