Apps to Pack for Your April Vacation

Before you head out of town, don’t forget to take a few minutes to download and pack your apps before your trip. Here are some apps that Xfinity customers have been embracing and have powerful benefits on the go: 

-          Xfinity TV Go: Now Xfinity TV customers can stream more than 25,000 On Demand choices and download thousands of hit movies and TV shows to watch offline later.  For example, movies from Planes to Iron Man 3 are available for download at no additional cost for Xfinity customers.  In addition, the app offers more than 50 live channels to enjoy on-the-go, wherever there is a WiFi connection featuring the likes of CNN, ESPN and the Disney Channel. 

-          Xfinity TV: This app allows X1 Platform with Cloud Technology customers to take up to 10 DVR’d programs on each iOS-powered smart devices through an intuitive check-in/check-out feature.  Any download selections must be made inside the home, so it’s a must to pack this app to enjoy your DVR’d programs on your vacation.

-          Xfinity Home: This app not only enables Xfinity Home customers to manage their thermostats, alarm system and lights, but it also provides a direct connection to streaming video of indoor and outdoor cameras back at the house so that the homeowner can check in, as necessary and receive any alerts if something goes wrong.

-          Finally, depending on where your travels take you, keep in mind that Xfinity Internet customers have access to more than 1,000,000 WiFi hotspots throughout the country.  Find hot spots with the free Xfinity WiFi app or simply check the hotspot map.
