Coronavirus Drops At Mary Ann Morse In Natick, Framingham
The Mary Ann Morse senior care facility in Natick saw 17 patients die after a coronavirus outbreak there.

NATICK, MA — The Mary Ann Morse senior health care centers in Natick and Framingham have seen coronavirus cases stabilize, the director reported on Monday. The facility in Natick had been the site of one of the most devastating local coronavirus outbreaks.
On Monday, Mary Ann Morse CEO Lisa Kubiak said that the number of active cases in Natick had dropped to five — and were down to zero at Mary Ann Morse at Heritage in Framingham.
"We are now able to say that we have arrived at the end of the tunnel," Kubiak said in a May 4 blog post. "Both facilities remain stable and so much closer to full recovery."

On April 21, Kubiak announced that 17 residents at the Natick facility had died of coronavirus. After National Guard testing took place on April 14 and 15, Kubiak reported 75 residents in Natick and 36 staff had tested positive. Five residents and one staff member in Framingham tested positive.
As of Monday, 325 long-term care facilities across Massachusetts had some type of coronavirus outbreak, according to state data. Of the state's 4,090 deaths, 2,428 were people connected to a long-term care facility.

Elsewhere in the area, the Beaumont Rehab facility in Natick had more than 30 cases, and several more facilities in Framingham — including St. Patrick's Manor and Carlyle House — had more than 30 cases each.
