Lead singer of the multi-platinum ‘90s alt-rock band Tonic, Emerson Hart is also a songwriting force of nature with a recognizably warm, inviting, and accessible sound. Writer of hits like Tonic’s “Open Up Your Eyes” and “If You Could Only See,” Hart also wrote the award-winning theme to the NBC drama American Dreams. His 2007 solo album Cigarettes and Gasoline touched upon his personal tragedies and life successes, earning him two top 20 hits and much critical acclaim. His upcoming album, Beauty in Disrepair, is slated for an early 2014 release.
