Get Your Diaper On: 2020 'Cover Every Little Bottom' Drive Begins

An annual charity drive to collect diapers for MetroWest families is on now. Here's how you can help.

NATICK, MA — If you think changing a diaper stinks, you should see how much they cost. Keeping a supply of diapers can cost anywhere between $75 and $100 per month per child, an amount that's out of reach for thousands of families in the MetroWest area.

To ease that burden, the Natick-based nonprofit A Place To Turn is putting out a call for diapers for its annual "Cover Every Little Bottom" campaign. The nonprofit is accepting donations, but is encouraging local institutions — schools, churches, social groups — to hold diaper collection drives.

During the 2019 diaper drive, the nonprofit collected over 90,000 diapers, helping about 1,100 local families. That's up from about 80,000 diapers collected in 2017.
