Hi Friends, Last Wed., 9/25, Tom Lally and I had some success installing a few erosion control devices on the badly scoured trail and bank leading from the Pond St. Parking Notch to the Dug Pond fishing area. We even threw in a little grass seed into the filter mitts ("detritus burritos") which we assembled with leaves, burlap and zip ties. Won't be back on the Trails with Trail Buddies until Mon., 10/22, because of family visiting. But The Natick HS Earth Club and Lake Cochituate Watershed Council - Big Heart Little Feet will be hosting an event: The Dug Pond Clean-up Chapter 8 scheduled for Sat., 10/5, 9 am - Noon at the Donovan Boat Landing.
