Iris DeMent Plays The Center For Arts Natick
Iris DeMent's new album is "Workin' On A World". DeMent plays a show in Natick this week.
NATICK, MA — Iris DeMent has had a long and storied career which includes critically acclaimed albums and plenty of award recognition.
Her debut, "Infamous Angel", recently celebrated its 30-year anniversary and was named to Rolling Stone's list of greatest country albums of all time.
The next two records in her catalog were both nominated for Grammy awards.

But don't take DeMent for just a legacy act. Her latest record, "Workin' In A World" is out now and features a prime display of DeMent's singing and songwriting chops. She brings those songs to Natick on Wednesday for a concert at The Center For Arts.
The show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. with tickets on sale now for $45.
