Kayaker Who Died In Natick's Fiske Pond ID'd
The Middlesex District Attorney's Office released the identification of the man who died after his kayak capsized in Fiske Pond on Saturday.
NATICK, MA — The Middlesex District Attorney's Office have identified the man who died in Natick's Fiske Pond over the weekend
Officials said the man who died is 29-year-old Edvanio Assis De Miranda in an email to Patch on Wednesday.
Officials said De Miranda's kayak capsized in the pond and emergency personnel used side-scan sonar to find his remains around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, state police said, adding divers recovered the body.

A second person who was in the canoe made it to shore before first responders arrived, according to police.
Assisting in the rescue effort were the Natick fire and police departments, state police, and Massachusetts Environmental Police, authorities said, adding Fiske Pond is part of the Lake Cochituate sub-basin.
