Leonard Morse Hospital Changes Postponed
MetroWest Medical Center announced they will postpone changes in medical services at Leonard Morse Hospital amind outbreak of COVID-19

BOSTON- Representative David P. Linsky (D-Natick) announced today that the Leonard Morse hospital in Natick will remain open for the foreseeable future to serve patients in the MetroWest area.
"I am pleased to learn of this decision to keep the hospital open during this critical time," said Representative Linsky. "I appreciate the concern that was paid to the immediate impact that this could have on the MetroWest area and I am hopeful that this consciousness will continue throughout upcoming conversations about the future of the hospital."
MetroWest Medical center announced in January that they planned on restructuring their healthcare network which also includes Framingham Union Hospital, by shifting their focus at Leonard Morse to behavioral healthcare.

Tenet Healthcare, the private company which owns MetroWest Medical Center, made the announcement on Thursday citing the outbreak of COVID-19 as the factor in the decision and the need to ensure additional access to healthcare services.
The public meeting intended for community feedback scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th at the Wilson Middle School in Natick has also been postponed.
