Natick Cannabis Cultivator Expanding Production Across MA

Bountiful Farms, which operates a medical dispensary in Natick, will soon begin selling products

NATICK, MA — Natick cannabis cultivator Bountiful Farms announced an expansion Tuesday with plans to begin selling products at six new stores across Massachusetts.

Bountiful Farms operates a medical dispensary along Mercer Road in Natick, and grows all its products at a facility in Lakeville. That facility will double the amount of cannabis plants it grows to sell products at new retail stores in Franklin, Brockton, Salem, Salisbury, Amesbury and Kingston, according to the company.

"We’ve found some amazing, like-minded retailers to help expand our reach, and are so grateful that even more people will have the chance to experience what we’ve been growing," General Manager Zach Taylor said in a news release.

Bountiful Farms opened its Natick medical dispensary in October 2020, the first store to sell cannabis in town. The store is only open to customers with medical marijuana cards.

Natick is capping the number of open-to-all recreational cannabis stores at two. The Natick Select Board last month approved a host-community agreement with reLeaf, which already sells Bountiful Farms products at its Mansfield store. ReLeaf plans to open in a former Papa Gino's along Route 9 just west of Oak Street.

Natick's other impending adult-use store, Cypress Tree, is set to open at 321 Speen St. The store has so far only been granted a provisional license from the state Cannabis Control Commission.
