Natick Man Charged With Animal Cruelty At Train Station
Transit police responded to a report at the Ashmont Station of a man beating his dog.

A Natick man who was already wanted for animal cruelty charges, is facing new charges after MBTA police received reports of the man beating his dog at a train station.
Transit Police officers at the South District got a radio call On Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. about a report of a man beating his dog at the Ashmont Station. Witnesses pointed out Micheal Webb, 26, of Natick and told officers that while on the southbound platform Webb used his dog's leash and began to viciously whip and beat the animal about it's body.
As officers approached Webb, who is approximately 6'7 and 300lbs, he suggested they needed more than two officers to take him. Once more officers arrived, Webb was placed into custody for Cruelty to Animals and transported to Transit Police Department Headquarters.

While Webb was being booked officers noticed an arrest warrant out for Webb's arrest issued out of Boston Municipal Court for Cruelty to Animals.
City of Boston Animal Control responded and took custody of Coco, a mixed breed dog.
