Natick Olympic Athlete Talks About Mental Health During Pandemic

Hockey goalie Molly Schaus recently offered advice to young people on how to cope with the stress of being under quarantine.

NATICK, MA — Natick native and former Olympian Molly Schaus recently gave a talk about how young people can cope with the stress of being under quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic.

Schaus spoke as part of the Doc Wayne center's "Kids and COVID-19" webinar series. Schaus was a goaltender for the women's USA Hockey team between 2008 and 2015, and earned a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. She now lives in California and works for the Anaheim Ducks NHL team.

The Doc Wayne center, which has a location in Framingham, uses sports to help address mental health issues in youth. You can watch Schaus' full talk here:
