Natick, Mass. residential property sales for Aug. 3-7, 2026 (natickreport.com) — If you're watching Natick's housing market, this week's sales list shows single-family and condo properties closing between about $303,000 and $1.6 million across streets like Beverly Road, Whitney Circle, Hudson Street, and Village Rock Lane. All transactions are drawn from the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds, offering a clear snapshot of current prices for buyers, sellers, and curious neighbors.
   

2. Natick sports update: High school sports start up again; Girls basketball coach Cohen heads to Groton School (natickreport.com) — Natick High School sports are back, with the defending state champion boys and girls soccer teams opening their seasons at home this month, giving fans plenty to circle on their calendars. The longtime girls varsity basketball coach, Oryx Cohen, has departed for Groton School and shared a heartfelt thank-you to the Natick community, while residents are invited to send in local sports updates and photos.
   

3. Latest South Natick spillway removal photo dump (natickreport.com) — Work at the South Natick Dam has reached a major milestone, with the concrete spillway removed, Grove Park still closed, and Old Town Park largely reopened for visitors near the Bacon Free Library. The town is now monitoring river flow, sediment, and invasive plants while boating remains prohibited and residents continue to visit the riverbank to document the dramatic changes.
   

4. John David Wight (villages-news.com) — Natick residents are remembering John David Wight, who was born in town, grew up here, and graduated from Natick High School before serving in the Army and working in emergency medical services. He later settled in Mendon and then Florida, where he enjoyed golf, boating, and time with loved ones; his family has chosen not to hold services at this time.
