New Natick Select Board Candidate Enters 2022 Race
Two Select Board seats are up in 2022, including one being vacated by Sue Salamoff.

NATICK, MA — A Natick Town Meeting member is looking to make the leap to the Select Board.
Cody Jacobs on Wednesday launched his campaign to run for a Natick Select Board seat in 2022. The upcoming March election features two Select Board seats, including the one that member Sue Salamoff is leaving.
Jacobs, 37, a Boston University Law School lecturer, said he's running to focus on "social justice, climate action, moral budgeting and government accountability." In the 2021 election, Jacobs endorsed Guimel DeCarvalho for Select Board.

"I'm ready to get to work. I'm looking forward to getting out there and talking with voters about a progressive vision for Natick," Jacobs, a Precinct 2 Town Meeting member, said in a news release Wednesday.
Jacobs is the second candidate to announce a campaign ahead of election filing season. Former Zoning Board of Appeals member Kathryn Coughlin announced in early November that she would run for Select Board.
