Old Photo Scanning Day Held By Natick Historical Society

The Historical Society is hosting "Chronicling Natick: Historic Photo Scanning Day."

NATICK, MA—If you've got a piece of Natick history, won't you share it with others.

The Natick Historical Society is looking for the town in your old frames, from photos of people returning from wars to buildings to eating at Casey's Diner or any other amazing shot you've got in your archives.

You are being asked to bring up to three of your favorite old photos to a photo scanning day (which is actually two days) at the Bacon Free Library on Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 3-7 p.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 10 am. to 2 p.m. The photos will be scanned for the archives and then potentially shared with the statewide "Digital Commonwealth" project for future preservation.
