• Beautiful plantings are always in season for Natick Garden Club (naticktownnews.com) — Downtown Natick is getting fresh color as the Natick Garden Club plants and maintains 35 planters and additional containers near the Morse Institute Library, with help from local merchants and the Natick Center Cultural District. Volunteers say the club offers a friendly way to meet neighbors, learn gardening skills, and even support Natick High School scholarships through dues and an annual plant sale.
   

• Scary stuff planned for Halloween (naticktownnews.com) — Natick families have a full lineup of Halloween fun coming in October, from Pumpkin Fest at Tilly and Salvy's—benefiting Natick Public Schools—to the downtown Spooktacular and a Jack O'Lantern competition in South Natick. Libraries are also joining in with crafts, spooky storytelling, cemetery history talks, art workshops, concerts, and a virtual haunted lighthouse program for all ages.
   

• Milford's Rosenberg (3 TDs) honors late father, a Natick alum, in win (metrowestdailynews.com) — Natick football fans saw their Redhawks fall 28–7 at Memorial Stadium as Milford's Eli Rosenberg scored three touchdowns in an emotional tribute to his late father, a Natick High alum. Despite several long drives into the red zone, Natick couldn't convert key chances, while Milford's defense repeatedly held firm to stay unbeaten.
