This Brazilian steakhouse plans to open restaurant at Natick Mall (metrowestdailynews.com) — A new Brazilian steakhouse, Alma Gaucha, is slated to open at Natick Mall, bringing rodizio-style all-you-can-eat dining and a large bar and patio to town. The restaurant is working through Natick's permitting process now, with construction expected to take about three months once approved, and will occupy the former Met Bar & Grill space near Nordstrom and the Apple Store.
   

2. ADUs catching on in Natick as housing option (natickreport.com) — Natick homeowners now have a clearer path to building accessory dwelling units, with local zoning updated after the 2025 Affordable Homes Act and nearly 20 ADU permits filed so far. The transactions range from a West Central Street home over $1.1 million to condos and smaller properties, with all information drawn from the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds.
