WATCH: Police Seek Person Connected to Larceny at Pet World
Breaking: Police are looking for suspects who allegedly stole a wallet from a car and took off down Speen Street.
NATICK, MA—Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly took off with someone's wallet from the Pet World parking lot.
On saturday at 4:15 p.m., police responded to Pet World on Route 9 for a report of larceny. A dark-skinned male, in his 40s or 50s, approached a van in the lot, the owner of that van standing just to the back of the vehicle, said police. While they were talking, the suspect opened the door to the mini-van and removed the victim's wallet, after which the suspect was confronted by the victim.
The suspect took off toward the rear of Pet World, and a dark-skinned female, who had been in the passenger's seat of the suspect's vehicle, slid to the driver's side and drove to the back of the building. Police think the two then met and fled to Speen Street, heading south in what is thought to be a newer, black Honda (possibly a Civic).
