'Report Cards' On MetroWest Quality Of Life To Be Released

The Natick-based Foundation for MetroWest is producing the report cards, which will be released on Jan. 22.

NATICK, MA — The nonprofit Foundation for MetroWest will soon release report cards on quality of life in the 33 towns and cities in the MetroWest area. The report cards will assess items like transportation, demographics, education, and income inequality.

The report cards are set to be released on Jan. 22 in Natick with Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito giving remarks. Polito will be joined by MassBay Community College Prsident David Podell, Advocates CEO Diane Gould, and Middlesex Savings Bank COO Dana Neshe.

The foundation will also launch a public website featuring the report cards, which will be based on an analysis of about two decades worth of data, according to the Foundation for MetroWest. There will also be a panel discussion with Bloomberg host and former WHDH reporter Janet Wu.

The event will also serve as a sort-of 25th anniversary celebration for Foundation for MetroWest, and a new grant from MathWorks will be unveiled.
