Hi Friends,
Just hoping to "jump start" some interest in shoveling out sidewalks, handicapped accessible ramps, and walkways after our next storm here in Natick. My grandson, Bowen (Gr. 1), and I managed to clear the brand new ramp in front of our house which despite the thaw was still covered in a 3' berm. Hoping to interest neighbors and other citizens in these tasks. People shouldn't have to walk in the streets after big snow storms. Simple as that. Let me know if you're interested in helping out.
We can do something about it as a community. Connect w/ one another...ask private and municipal plowers not to leave huge snow berms right in the middle of the sidewalks and ramps...get out a shovel or snow blower; take care of the piles soon after the storm. Much easier to manage. Bowen and I had to hack through hardened layers of ice and snow to clear today's obstruction. Hope to hear from you. Thanks. --Pat
