$5,000 If You Know Who Set Off The Pipe Bomb At Framingham High

A reward is being offered to anyone who can offer information leading to finding a suspect involved in detonating a pipe bomb.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Authorities are asking for the public's help to find out who detonated a pipe bomb on the grounds of Framingham High School over the weekend.

The remnants of the device, which was was a PVC pipe filled with black powder, was found on Sunday evening, but it could have been set off on Saturday, reports WCVB.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to confidentially call the arson hotline at 800-682-9229. The hotline is part of the Arson Watch Reward Program that provides up to $5,000 for information that solves the case.

Framingham Fire, Police, State Police, the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating.
