Season Of Free Parking In Natick Now Underway

NATICK, MA — An annual free parking holiday is back in Natick to coincide with the holiday season.

Each year, Natick suspends parking meters in the downtown area to attract shoppers and restaurant-goers. The suspension typically lasts beyond New Year's Day.

This year, the free-parking season began on Small Business Saturday and will last until Jan. 2. The Board of Selectmen approved the parking holiday on Nov. 17.

There are plenty of holiday activities going on in Natick this year, including a menorah and holiday lights on the common, a holiday window contest and a series of winter bazaars.
