See Worcester Area Snow Totals After Weekend Blizzard
Worcester's parking ban will remain in place Sunday as the city continues to clean up after Saturday's storm.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester was continuing to dig out after Saturday's day-long blizzard, which dumped more than a foot on the city, according to meteorologists.
Worcester lifted its travel ban on Sunday morning, but officials were keeping a parking ban in place. Most roads in Worcester were plowed but extremely slick early Sunday morning.
"Cleanup crews are applying melting treatment and sand to the roads to ensure save travel. In addition, plows and snow removal equipment will continue work in areas where high winds have created snow drifts and blown snow into the streets," the city said in a Sunday news release.
According to snow totals released Sunday by the National Weather Service (NWS), some towns saw nearly 3 feet of snow. Stoughton was the winner in the state with about 30.9 inches — but almost every spot east of Worcester got at least a foot.
