Slow down and taste your food

You need to really chew your food in order to taste it. Your food needs to get chewed mix with your saliva and reach all your taste buds in order to get the full flavor of what you are eating. You will also eat less when you taste the food because you get satisfied much faster.

If you let yourself chew and taste the food you will be able to leave more food on your plate, this will let you leave the table without looking for more food in a few hours.

Try to put your fork down between bites and wait till you swallow to fill up your fork or spoon again. If you find that hard just push your food around your plate and play with it until you are ready for another bite.  Make your bites small it will last longer. Can you be the last to finish your meal at the table?
