2nd OUI, Unwanted Person: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

January 29

1:00 a.m. - An officer observed a running vehicle in front of a Mills Road address. Upon further investigation the operator's license status in Massachusetts was suspended and he had an active straight warrant out of Ipswich District Court. The operator, Sergey Filiok, 36, of Portland, Maine was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and the straight warrant.

9:30 a.m. - An officer conducted a traffic stop on a brown Volvo sedan for a red light violation. The owner/operator, Larry Matthews, 41, of Randolph, was arrested on a default warrant from Roxbury District Court.

An officer spoke with the owner of a Chapel Street business. He told police that he received a check from a customer that had a stopped payment on it. The customer stated that they will correct the payment issue. The matter is still under investigation pending restitution.

8:05 p.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle for a marked lanes violation on Gould Street. As a result, Lynda Pacitti, 54, of West Roxbury, was placed under arrest and charged with operating a under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and marked lanes violation. A 62-year-old Tewksbury man was placed into protective custody for alcohol intoxication.

11:40 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Captain Robert Cook Drive residence for the report of an unwanted party. The unwanted party was advised to return to their own residence, which they did without incident.

January 30

4:35 p.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle on Highland Terrace. The registered owner's license status was listed as revoked. The operator, a 72-year-old Needham man, was cited and will be summoned to Dedham District Court for operating with a revoked license.
