Two Crashes Reported on Route 128

NEEDHAM, MA - The poor weather has resulted in a car accident on Route 128 Friday morning.

A three-car crash is slowing down traffic just before exit 19 on the north side of the highway according to the Total Traffic Network. WHDH reports that cars are off to the right and left of the highway.

Traffic by the Highland Avenue exit was down to about 28 mph.

On Route 128 south, an accident was been reported near exit 18.

Both accidents have been cleared.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 3 p.m. Friday. Due to the conditions, the National Weather Service is advising drivers to take caution due to snow-covered roads and poor visibility. Commuters should plan on doubling their travel time or telecommute if possible, according to the NWS.
