NEEDHAM, MA — Police are warning residents to be on the look out after three cars were broken into at a gym in the 600 block of Highland Avenue. The break-ins happened between 12:30 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. on Thursday. All three vehicles were high end SUVS, all of which had their passenger side windows smashed.

Each of the three victims had their purses stolen after leaving them on the passenger seat. Police are urging everyone to not leave behind any valuables in their cars.

"It is likely that the individuals responsible are watching areas that people leave their car for brief amounts of time," police said in a Facebook statement.
