5 Needham Businesses Highlighted In 'Boston Magazine'
The stores were highlighted as popular retail spots in town as many city dwellers flee to the suburbs.
NEEDHAM, MA — Five Needham businesses were highlighted in the latest issue of "Boston Magazine." The piece focused on popular retail spots in town that have gained the attention of many city-dwellers fleeing to the suburbs.
The five shops weren't ranked but listed as:
- Covet & Lou, 947 Great Plain Ave.
- Mostly Gray, 915 Great Plain Ave.
- French Press Bakery & Café, 74 Chapel St.
- Closet Exchange, 906 Great Plain Ave.
- Reveler Beverage Company, 250 Chestnut St.
Covet & Lou is a shop that sells women's clothes and accessories as well as home decor and goods. The store owner, Tina Burgos, previously owned a shop on Boston's Newbury Street. She explains on the store's website that she chose to leave the city and open Covet & Lou due to a combination of personal life changes and wanting to pursue a passion project.

Mostly Gray is a multidisciplinary lifestyle brand store. The shop has made a name for itself through it's sale of natural, honestly-sourced goods. The shop is new to town, opening in March 2019.
French Press Bakery & Café is a trendy bakery selling artisan pastries and bread. The food is baked fresh and overseen by owner Jay Spencer, who studied culinary entrepreneurship at New York’s French Culinary Institute.

Closet Exchange is a consignment and resale store that started as a mother-daughter business and expanded to four stores. The shop accepts and resells designer women's clothing and has been a fixture in the community sine the 1990's.
Reveler Beverage Company is a craft beverage store. The business doesn't limit itself to beer but sells craft wine, cocktail ingredients and non-alcoholic beverages. The shop includes a tasting bar to try samples of the most recent offerings.
