5 Things to Do in Needham This Weekend: Bubbly Tasting; Kids Night Out; Christmas Tree Sale

Needham’s hopping this weekend, and the coming week, with things to do in town.

Here are some choices:

• On Friday, Dec. 12, it’s “Kids Night Out.” That means parents can drop their kids off at the Public Services Administration building from 5:30-9 p.m. and they can hang out and watch a movie (Rio 2), and enjoy games and treats. Pajamas, sleeping bags and pets are allowed, too. You’ve got to register, though.
• Discover animals and their different habitats in this “Animals of the World” program at the Needham library on Saturday.
• The Norfolk Lodge is holding a Christmas tree sale on Saturday afternoon.
• Needham Center Fine Wines, on Saturday, is hosting a “Grand Bubbly Tasting” from 3-6 p.m. Champagne, Prosecco, Brachetto, Moscato, Cava and more!
• OK, it’s next door in Dedham, but it’s pretty fun so we’re telling you about it. There’s a Polar Express pajama party on Saturday at the Dedham Community Center.
