5K Road Race/1 Mile Walk to benefit the Charles River Center

The Charles River Center will hold its 5th annual 5K Run/1 Mike Walk on Sunday, September 27th at 11am.  This USA Track and Field-certified course begins and ends at the Charles River Center at 59 East Militia Heights Drive (Needham) and loops through the scenic back roads of Needham and Wellesley.

More than 600 attendees (including over 100 individuals with developmental disabilities) are expected to participate.  Proceeds will benefit over 850 children and adults with developmental disabilities served by the Charles River Center.

Registration begins at 9am, the race will begin at 11am.  Registration before September 26th is $33.25 for runners, $28.00 for walkers, and $17.50 for youth.  Saturday and same day registration is $35.00 for runners, $30.00 for walkers, and $15.00 for youth.  To register, visit: www.CharlesRiverCenterRoadRace.com.

All abilities are welcome, and the first 300 entries will receive free T-shirts.  Participants and supporters are invited back to the Charles River Center for food, drinks, and a festive celebration after the run.
