Amid Summer Heat, Needham Hardware Store Turns Attention to Winter

Stores across Massachusetts have left summer is the rearview mirror as they gear up for a change in season, including Harvey’s Hardware in Needham.

Labor day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer. Vacations will come to a close for many as students across Massachusetts head back to school, but fall does not officially begin until September 23.

One hardware store in Needham is making it hard for folks to savor a few last beach days, let alone the upcoming fall foliage. Harvey’s Hardware is already reminding residents of winter, a nightmare many of us are just recovering from.

The store has three new snowblowers for sale out on the sidewalk, making it hard to avoid the thought of another brutal season of snow.

To make thing’s worse, the Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts New England will get slammed by strong snowstorms once again.
