On Saturday, Oct. 22, will hold a play date and field trip to Sauchuk Farm, 200 Center St., Plympton, for children ages 6-12. A wonderful morning of fun farm attractions is planned.
Fall is corn maze time, and Sauchuk Farm Corn Maze is not to be missed. Kids will want to do this first. They can take a hayride to the pumpkin patch, too, where pumpkins may be purchased—please give them their own money to spend. And younger children love to ride the cow train through the corn. Another highlight at Sauchuk Farm is their corn cannon. With farm worker supervision, kids can try their hands at hitting targets and winning neat prizes.
Meet at the church, 858 Great Plain Ave., by 9:00 a.m. The group will arrive back at the church at 2:00 p.m. Carpooling will be organized by First Baptist; the church asks that two parents volunteer to drive and help transport the children. While First Baptist Church will provide a snack, families are encouraged to pack a lunch for their child.
