May 9, 2013, Needham, MA. Needham Bank congratulates the Needham Women’s Club on the success of the Needham Grand Wine Tasting.
The Needham Women's Club's (NWC) Needham Grand Wine Tasting provided residents of Needham and the surrounding towns the opportunity to sample more than 80 different wines, and sample many cuisines from all over the world through partnerships with Higgins Wine & Spirits, Petit Robert Bistro, The Center Cafe, Not Your Average Joes, Spiga Ristorante, The Met Bar and Grill at Legacy Place, and Healthy Habits Kitchen.
“We’re pleased that the NWC’s Needham Grand Wine Tasting was such a resounding success,” said Jack McGeorge, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Needham Bank. “The response to the Own Your Peace project shows our community’s commitment to supporting each other.”
“Needham Bank is a true partner in the community, and embodies Needham’s commitment to caring and buying local,” said Christy Curran, President of the Needham Women’s Club.
The Needham Grand Wine Tasting was held at Powers Hall at Needham Town Hall. Net proceeds from the event will support Own Your Peace, a permanent and compelling sculpture for the community that embodies Needham's commitment to caring, and supporting each other's well-being.
