Needham Bank Supports Needham Jr. Rockets Cheerleaders; Donation Helps Send Squad to Nationals

Needham Bank recently helped send the Needham Jr. Rockets 8^th grade “A” Squad cheerleaders to the Nationals competition in Orlando, FL.

As Northeast Regional Champions, the Needham Jr. Rockets Squad qualified for the National level, a “once in a lifetime experience,” according to Linda McCarthy, Head Coach of the NJF 8^th grade cheerleading squad.

Competing against 120 squads from various divisions, the Needham Jr. Rockets came in sixth in their division during the December 10^th competition.

“It was a dream come true for these girls and one that was made possible with the support of Needham Bank,” said McCarthy.  “We’re grateful to Needham Bank for reaching out with such generosity; they helped turn this rare opportunity into reality and we couldn’t be more thankful.”

“We’re thrilled to have assisted in sending these fine young athletes to this prestigious competition where they established themselves as champions on a national level,” said Jeff Stewart, Needham Branch Manager of Needham Bank.
