Another Peeping Tom Report, Shoplifting: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

February 3

8:30 p.m. - An officer responded to an Oxbow Road address for a report of a person looking in the windows of that residence. A search of the area was conducted, with the assistance of a State Police K9, with negative results. The incident is under investigation.

11:45 a.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle for an expired plate sticker. As a result of the motor vehicle stop, a 39-year-old woman from Framingham was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to display a plate sticker.

2:00 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Kendrick Street office for a report of credit card fraud. The victim told police that his card was compromised over the weekend and over $700 was charged to his account. The victim canceled the card and alerted the company. The matter is under investigation.

4:30 p.m. - A Lee Road resident came to the police station to report that her wallet was lost or stolen while she was at a bank on Highland Avenue. Officer awaiting a copy of the bank's surveillance tape.


February 6

2:50 p.m. - An officer responded to a Highland Avenue business for a report of shoplifting. Employees stopped a 62-year-old Boston resident on Mellen Street. It was determined that she shoplifted eight items. She was issued a summons for shoplifting by concealment.

4:42 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Kendrick Street with possible injuries. Dispatch advised the office that one of the vehicles was revoked for insurance. A 30-year-old woman from Hyde Park was issued a summons for operating with revoked registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to yield right of way while making a left turn.
