April Home Maintenance To Do's
With a few, quick chores your home will be prepped for spring.
April has finally arrived and hopefully will leave winter's snow and biting cold in its wake. I, like many New Englanders, am looking forward to getting getting outside to enjoy that fresh spring air. Although that walk around the yard brings gentle reminders of some home maintenance chores. Don’t worry, these maintenance items are pretty quick and fairly standard for the annual spring cleaning. - Take down winter storm windows and replace with original screens.
- Activate the lawn irrigation and test the timers to ensure proper working function.
- Properly store all snow equipment and materials.
- Take the lawnmower in for a tune-up and sharpen the blades.
- Check all shrubs and trees for winter damage and prune as appropriate.
