Beth Israel-Needham Celebrates Renaming of Glover Cafe

Members of the Boards of Trustees and Advisors, employees and friends of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham (BID-Needham) recently gathered to celebrate and honor the Trotman Family as they cut the ribbon to mark the renaming of the hospital’s popular Glover Café as the Trotman Family Glover Café. This was the result of a generous gift to the new Beth Israel Deaconess (BID) Cancer Center and Surgical Pavilion from The Trotman Family Charitable Trust, in memory of Weston Resident Mrs. Valerie Trotman’s husband, Alex Trotman.

 Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham has raised a total of $3.4 million toward its goal of $6 million for the BID Cancer Center and Surgical Pavilion, scheduled to open in mid-September. This gift from The Trotman Family Charitable Trust is the largest donation to date for the campaign.
