Bitcoin Scam, Destroyed Christmas Decorations: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

December 15

6:50 p.m. - An Officer took a walk-in report from a resident of Stonefield Court regarding attempted fraud. The reporting party received a suspicious letter at his residence demanding money to be paid through Bitcoin. The letter was sent from an unknown party in Alabama. The reporting party was advised the letter was a scam.

December 16

11:54 a.m. - An officer responded to the intersection Central Avenue and River Park for a report of a road rage incident. The reporting party did not wish to seek charges.

1:05 a.m. - An officer responded to the area of Central Avenue by West Street for a report of an injured deer. The officer located the animal and immediately saw that it was severely wounded. Another unit responded with the department issued shotgun and the animal was put down without incident.

December 18

An officer responded to a Manning Street residence for a report of a inflated Christmas decoration being destroyed.

3:00 p.m. - An officer took a report of some damage to holiday decorations at a Webster Street address.
