Briarwood Rehab Names New Director of Nursing
As director of nursing, Lawton leads oversees the nursing services department at the 120-bed skilled nursing center.
From Briarwood Rehab Center: Briarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a Marquis Health Services skilled nursing facility, today announced the appointment of Courtney Lawton, RN, as director of nursing.
As director of nursing, Lawton leads oversees the nursing services department at the 120-bed skilled nursing center, which provides high-quality post-acute care, including cardiac, pulmonary, stroke recovery and orthopedic rehabilitation services, as well as long-term, 24-hour care to residents in Needham and surrounding communities.
“Courtney brings a wealth of experience in long-term care and hospital services to her new leadership role at Briarwood. She is passionate about providing high-quality care to our residents and rehabilitation patients,” said Jenny Baldassarre, administrator at Briarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Lawton, a registered nurse, previously served as assistant director of nursing at a skilled nursing facility in Randolph. She received an associate degree in nursing from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing.
