Brush Fire, Missing License Plate, and More: Needham Police Log

April 13
12:30 p.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle on 4th Ave. After a brief investigation the operator, a 36-year-old from Boston, was summoned to court for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

8:30 a.m. - A resident of Harris Avenue told police that his car’s front license plate was missing. He was not sure if it was lost or stolen.
10:00 p.m. - An officer responded to Stevens Road for a report of a package delivered to the house that was addressed to someone who did not live there. The package was taken and attempts to locate owner are being made.

April 15
A resident on Birds Hill Ave reported that someone had used his Santander Debit card info to withdraw $1,600 from an ATM. He notified Santander and they are investigating.
April 16
10:45 a.m. - Officers were dispatched to the area of Reservoir Street and Central Avenue for an erratic operator on a motorcycle without a helmet. A 21-year-old Woburn man will be summonsed on charges of operating a motorcycle without a helmet, failure to stop for police, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
7:30 p.m. - An officer responded to Cooks Bridge for multiple reports of a small brush fire in the woods behind the complex. Needham Fire responded and extinguished the fire.
