UPDATE: 81-Year-Old in Critical Condition Following Needham Crash
Police say a vehicle went off the road and struck a man, vehicle, and the porch of a home.

NEEDHAM, MA — Police and fire are at the scene of a pedestrian crash that took place Tuesday afternoon.
At 2:45 p.m., a vehicle that struck a person and a home on Webster Street was reported. Police say the vehicle was driving on Powers Street towards Webster Street when it veered off the road and struck an 81-year-old Needham man and another vehicle before crashing into the porch of a Webster Street home.
The pedestrian, an 81-year-old Needham man was transported to Brigham and Woman's Hospital with leg and head injuries. Police say he's in stable but critical condition as of Tuesday night. The 54-year-old Needham man was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Crews were at the scene for several hours. One witness told NBC Boston that be believes the victim was walking his grandson from nearby St. Joseph's.

The crash is under investigation. No charges have been announced.
