Car Strikes House, Vandalism, And More: Needham Police Log

September 11
1:15 p.m. - Officers responded to a Vara Lane residence for a report of a motor vehicle that had struck a house. The damage was reported as minor in nature with no injuries.
5:30 p.m - An officer took a report of a past vandalism to a motor vehicle from an employee of a 2nd Avenue business. The matter is currently under investigation.

7:30 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Lee Road residence for the report of credit card fraud. The victim said that between Aug. 15 and Sept. 11, her credit card was used to make several fraudulent purchases. The matter is under investigation.
September 12

4:40 p.m. - An officer responded to a Kendrick Street business for report of multiple unlocked vehicles having been broken into. The reporting parties confirmed multiple items were stolen from their vehicles. A report was taken and the incident remains under investigation.
September 13
9:30 a.m. - An officer conducted a traffic stop and determined the registered owner, a 20- year-old Fitchburg man, had a suspended license. A summons was issued for not having an inspection sticker and for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
