Cause for PAWS

Plugged In’s Music That Matters (MTM) Summer Camp students will

be rocking and rolling for a cause Friday evening 7/18. MTM students have chosen

PAWS (The Pet and Animal Welfare Society) to honor at their benefit concert. Join

our 3 MTM bands and hear some awesome live music and support the good work

they’re doing for PAWS!

PAWS is a champion for animals—rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife,

sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a

better world for animals and people.

PAWS envisions a world where all people recognize the intrinsic value of animals

and consistently make choices that demonstrate compassion and respect.

Plugged In Teen Band Program is a nonprofit organization dedicated to showing

young musicians, ages 6 to 19, how to make positive social change with their

music. Plugged In provides students with music instruction, songwriting

workshops, and access to dozens of community performances all with a focus

on social responsibility. Additionally, more than 350 students participate in the

production of 3 annual benefit concerts at which Plugged In musicians perform to

raise awareness and support for charitable organizations chosen by the students.

Plugged In provides a community for young artists looking for a sense of

belonging, a safe place to express themselves and an ego free, competition free

environment in which they can use their creative talents to help others.
