Charlestown's Weather Forecast: Flash Flood Watch, Scattered Storms
Stormy weather is expected to move through the Charlestown area Wednesday.

A flood watch has been issued for Suffolk County due to expected scattered showers and heavy thunderstorms, according to Weather.com’s latest forecast for the region.
Showers and storms are expected to develop late Wednesday morning or by the early afternoon hours. They will remain in the area through the early evening.
Storms may bring torrential rainfall of up to two inches or more in the less than one hour, which almost guarantees street flooding in urban areas and localized flash flooding.

A flash flood watch will be in effect for the Charlestown area from 11 a.m. through 8 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to avoid driving through deep water and flooded streets. A typical car can only handle a few inches of standing water before a potentially disastrous situation.
