This new education standard from Washington has caused a lot of controversy. Mr Gass is the Pioneer Institute's Director of the Center for School Reform. He is considered an authority on the subject, with over 20 yrs experience including working with BU's partnership with the Chelsea Public Schools. He has appeared on various Boston media such as WBZ, WRKO, WGBH, and WBUR. His op-eds are in various Mass. newspapers, as well as The Wall Street Journal.
